Got questions?

What is Puppy Flow Yoga?

Puppy Flow Yoga is a premium puppy yoga and wellness experience in Richmond Hill. We merge the transformative benefits of yoga with the joy of playful, affectionate puppies, offering a deeply therapeutic and rejuvenating session.

What happens during a Wellness Puppy Yoga class?

Each session is a guided, all-levels yoga flow interwoven with delightful moments of interaction with our puppies. The class is designed to promote mindfulness, stress relief, and pure joy. Expect light stretching, gentle poses, and plenty of time to cuddle, play, and bond with our pups.

Do you need yoga experience to attend?

Our classes are designed to be beginner-friendly and accessible to everyone. We practice a gentle flow yoga style, with options and guidance throughout so you can move at your own pace and comfort level. You're always welcome to take breaks, modify poses, or simply relax on your mat — especially if you'd rather spend some time cuddling or playing with the puppies. The goal is for you to feel comfortable, supported, and have a fun, memorable experience.

Do I need to bring a mat?

No need to bring a yoga mat — we supply them for you during the class. All mats are sanitized between sessions for the health and safety of the pups and all attendees. All you need to bring is yourself, clothes that are easy to move in, and a water bottle if you want one!

What breeds will be at my class?

Breeds vary each week! We reveal which puppies will be at your class 48 hours before the session on our social media pages. Follow us on Instagram and Facebook for the latest breed reveals and puppy updates!

Where are you located?

We're at Flex Space, 10225 Yonge St Unit R, Richmond Hill, ON L4C 3B2. Free parking is available on-site. We're easily accessible from Yonge Street.

Can pregnant women participate?

Our classes are all flow yoga, which is a style of yoga that is generally considered safe for pregnant women. However, like with all new exercises during pregnancy, it's recommended that you get the go-ahead from your healthcare professional before joining a class.

What is the age requirement for attending?

For the safety and comfort of our puppies, guests, and staff, the following age policy applies to all classes:

Ages 18+ may attend alone.
Guests ages 10-17 must be accompanied by an adult (18+) who is also attending the class.
Maximum 3 minors (ages 10-17) per adult.

Every guest must have their own valid ticket. Valid photo ID will be requested at check-in to verify age, and waivers must be completed prior to participation. Guests who do not meet the age requirement or arrive without the required supervision will not be permitted to participate, and tickets will be considered forfeited.

Why does Puppy Flow Yoga have an age policy?

Our policy helps ensure a safe, comfortable experience for guests while protecting the wellbeing of the puppies. This age requirement is set in collaboration with our breeders and rescue partners and is strictly enforced to prioritize the well-being of our puppies.

Does every person attending the class need a ticket?

Yes. All attendees, including supervising adults, must purchase a ticket.

Can one adult accompany more than three minors?

No. For supervision and safety reasons, the maximum is three minors (ages 10-17) per adult (18+).

Do children need ID to be permitted entrance?

Yes. All guests must be able to show ID (or a photo of ID) that includes their date of birth.

What happens if we don't meet the requirements at arrival?

If age, supervision, ID, or waiver requirements are not met, entry may be denied.

Can I get a refund if we don't meet the age requirements?

Tickets are non-refundable if entry is denied due to not meeting age, supervision, ID, or waiver requirements. However, tickets may be rescheduled or transferred according to our standard Returns & Transfers policy.

What happens if I'm late to a class or unable to attend?

We allow a 10-minute grace period for late arrivals. However, to maintain a smooth and enjoyable experience for all attendees and the puppies, no entry is allowed after the 10-minute grace period.

If you arrive late or miss your class entirely: you will be marked as a no-show, and no refunds or reschedules will be provided. We recommend arriving at least 10-15 minutes before the start time to ensure you have ample time for parking, check-in, and settling in.

For full details, please review our Late/No-Show Policy.

What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?

We do not offer refunds or cancellations. All rescheduling requests must be made at least 48 hours in advance. You can reschedule your tickets through your order confirmation email.

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking as far in advance as possible, especially for weekends and popular time slots. Classes often sell out, particularly during peak seasons and holidays.

How do we book for a large group?

We welcome group bookings for special occasions like birthday celebrations! Our class size is about 12 people. For groups larger than 8-10, we recommend reaching out to us about a private event through our contact form.

I cannot find my ticket email. Can you resend it?

If you are having trouble finding the email containing your tickets, please let us know and we'll resend it to you. Make sure to check all inboxes associated with your email address that you believe was used for the original purchase.

Do you have a waitlist for fully booked classes?

Yes! If a class is sold out, use the "Notify When Available" button to be placed on the waitlist. You will be notified via email the moment a spot opens with a direct link to book.

Can I change the name on a ticket or transfer it?

Yes! Each ticket comes with a "Transfer" option which can be accessed through the link provided in your ticket confirmation email. Follow the link and select "Transfer" to input the recipient's details. If any issues arise, our staff at the event can assist you with any ticket changes when you arrive.

What if I get scratched or bitten by a puppy?

Puppy interactions come with inherent risks including the possibility of minor scratches or nips as puppies explore and play. All attendees must sign a waiver acknowledging these risks before participating. If you experience any discomfort or have concerns following your visit, we recommend consulting with a healthcare professional. Please notify our staff immediately if any incident occurs during your session.

Are the puppies vaccinated?

All puppies are up-to-date on vaccinations appropriate for their age and come from trusted, reputable breeders and rescues. While puppies this young don't yet receive rabies vaccinations (typically given at 12-16 weeks), there is no risk of rabies exposure as we maintain strict sourcing standards and a controlled studio environment.

What safety protocols are in place?

We maintain rigorous health and safety standards including regular studio sanitization, trained staff supervision, and strict puppy sourcing requirements. All guests must sign a liability waiver, and we reserve the right to remove any guest whose behavior poses a risk to puppies or other participants.

What are your hygiene and cleanliness procedures?

Our studio is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized between each session. We provide hand sanitizer and recommend washing hands before and after puppy interactions. Puppies are monitored for health and cleanliness throughout their time with us.

Can people with dog allergies participate?

Puppy yoga involves direct contact with animals and their dander. If you have known allergies to dogs, we recommend consulting with your healthcare provider before attending. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment. We do have hypo-allergenic breeds join us occasionally, though we cannot guarantee their attendance.

What should I wear to class?

Wear comfortable, stretchy clothing suitable for yoga that you don't mind getting puppy hair on. Avoid loose jewelry, dangling accessories, or anything that could be damaged or pose a safety risk around playful puppies. Closed-toe shoes are recommended for arrival, though you'll be barefoot during the session.

Can I take photos and videos during class?

Yes! We encourage capturing memories during your puppy yoga experience. Please be mindful of other guests' privacy and avoid using flash photography, which can startle the puppies.

How many people are typically in each class?

We maintain intimate class sizes of up to 12 participants to ensure quality interactions with both puppies and instructors.

What breeds of puppies do you typically have?

We work with various breeds and mixed breeds depending on availability from our partner rescues and breeders. Each session features different puppies, making every experience unique. We reveal the breeds 48 hours before each class on our Instagram and Facebook pages. We cannot guarantee specific breeds for any given class.

Are the puppies available for adoption?

Many of our puppies are available for adoption through our partner rescue organizations. If you're interested in adopting, our staff can connect you with the appropriate rescue contact during your visit.

What if I arrive early to my class?

We allow guests to arrive up to 10 minutes before the scheduled start time. Early arrival allows time for check-in and waiver completion. Please note that entry is not permitted more than 10 minutes after the class start time.

Do you provide hand sanitizer and wipes?

Yes, hand sanitizer is available throughout our studio, and we provide cleaning supplies as needed. We encourage all guests to sanitize hands before and after puppy interactions.

How do I prepare for my first puppy yoga class?

Arrive with comfortable yoga clothes, a positive attitude, and realistic expectations about puppy behavior. Review your waiver beforehand, bring a hair tie if you have long hair, and be prepared for an experience that's equal parts relaxing and energizing!

What happens if puppies aren't available for my scheduled class?

In the rare event that puppies cannot participate due to health or safety concerns, we will offer a full refund or the option to reschedule to another available session at no additional charge.

Where can I park for my class?

Free parking is available at Flex Space, 10225 Yonge St Unit R, Richmond Hill. You will also receive parking instructions in the pre-event email 24 hours before your class.

What if I lost something at the studio?

If you've left an item behind, we'll hold it for up to 30 days. If no attempt is made to claim the item within that time, it will be donated. To claim a lost item, please contact us with a description of the item and the date of your class.

What accessibility accommodations do you offer?

We strive to make our experiences accessible to all guests. Please contact us directly when booking to discuss specific accommodation needs, and we'll work with you to ensure a comfortable experience.

What if I'm nervous around dogs but want to try?

Our trained staff will help you feel comfortable and can guide you through gradual interactions with the puppies. You're never required to interact directly with puppies if you're uncomfortable — you can observe and participate in yoga at your own comfort level.

Do you offer corporate or private events?

Yes! We offer private group bookings and corporate events. Contact us directly to discuss availability, pricing, and customization options for your group.

Can I receive a discount for multiple tickets or special groups?

We value all of our guests and appreciate the interest in our puppy yoga sessions. However, at this time, we are unable to offer group discounts or special pricing. We aim to provide the best possible experience at a fair price for everyone.

What should I do if I have feedback about my experience?

We value your feedback and are committed to providing a fun and inclusive environment. If there's anything about your experience that didn't meet expectations, we encourage you to reach out through our contact form. Please provide the full name and email address used for your order so we can address the matter.

What happens if a class is cancelled due to weather?

In the event that Puppy Flow Yoga cancels a class due to severe weather or other circumstances outside of our control, all affected bookings will be eligible for a free reschedule to a future class of equal value.

Refunds are not offered for weather-related cancellations. Guests will be contacted directly with next steps and a rescheduling deadline. If a guest does not respond within the specified window, the booking may be forfeited.

If a class proceeds as scheduled during inclement weather, guests may be offered a one-time courtesy reschedule (fee waived) provided the request is made before the stated deadline.
